Selected Completed Projects

Child, Early and Forced Marriage (CEFM) Project

Focus: Child Protection | Gender Equality | Youth Engagement | Community Mobilization

IWO Sindh successfully implemented a community-based project focused on preventing child, early, and forced marriage and promoting the rights, safety, and well-being of children and young people.

The project engaged youth, parents, teachers, community leaders, civil society representatives, and other key stakeholders to increase awareness, strengthen community dialogue, promote positive social norms, and encourage collective action to prevent harmful practices affecting children.

Gender-Based Violence Awareness & Capacity Building

Focus: GBV Prevention | Protection | Capacity Building | Multi-Sector Coordination

IWO Sindh implemented awareness and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen understanding of gender-based violence, prevention, protection, referral mechanisms, and survivor-centered approaches.

The initiatives brought together community representatives, teachers, civil society organizations, government officials, social welfare stakeholders, women protection actors, child protection stakeholders, media representatives, and local organizations to strengthen coordination and promote collective action against GBV.

Community Human Rights & Social Inclusion Initiatives

Focus: Human Rights | Equality | Inclusion | Community Empowerment

IWO Sindh has implemented community-level initiatives promoting human rights, equality, dignity, social inclusion, and meaningful participation of marginalized and vulnerable groups.

Through awareness activities, consultations, community engagement, and advocacy, these initiatives have supported communities in understanding their rights and engaging constructively with relevant institutions and service providers.

Youth Engagement & Community Empowerment

Focus: Youth Leadership | Participation | Awareness | Social Change

IWO Sindh has worked with young people and communities to strengthen leadership, participation, awareness, and positive social action.

Youth and community members were engaged through awareness activities, advocacy initiatives, consultations, and community-led actions addressing important social and protection issues.
